Rhode Island Drunk Driving Attorney

What is the legal blood alcohol concentration (BAC)?

Currently the legal limit for a person’s blood alcohol concentration, or BAC, is .08. This does not mean, however, that you cannot be arrested for DUI if your BAC is below .08. The legal limit is simply a benchmark for the police and the courts to use; if your driving becomes impaired at a lower BAC, you can still be stopped and charged with DUI.
