Should I take a breath or blood alcohol test?

In most states, you have a choice as to which type of test you take. Both tests have positives and negatives. Blood tests are usually more accurate than breath tests and not subject to the same sorts of inaccuracies due to environmental factors. If you are under the influence of other drugs besides alcohol, breath tests usually do not pick up on these substances, so a breath test could prevent detection if that was the only testing method involved.
